Henry “Amaze’’ Toe is one of Liberia’s best conscious musicians, or ‘Raptivists’. He uses music as a tool for positive social change. He started his career in neighboring Guinea at the age of 14, freestyling and performing at high school shows. Amaze joined the HIPCO Accountability Network with other artists like Nasseman; Takun J; Pochano; JD Donzo; Soul Fresh; Dr C. Red Beshop. Currently, he is a mentor for over 200 artists from Liberia, Nigeria and Asia. He is the winner of the CIVICUS Global Creative Arts Contest Award. Additionally, Amaze won the Liberia Development Awards and the USAID Youth Of The Year Award in 2019.
