Stage Name: Bryan_Awah
Awandumusa Bryan Tshuma, known by his stage name Bryan_Awah, is a 24-year-old Afro-pop artist hailing from the dusty streets of a small township in Western Bulawayo. His passion for music was discovered at the age of five while singing at Khayelihle Children’s Village (K.C.V). Despite facing the challenges of growing up without parents, Bryan never stopped believing in his dreams and placed his trust in God. From Sunday school karaoke to becoming a church worship leader, he has emerged as a diamond in the rough.
Bryan_Awah’s soothingly pure voice has earned him collaborations with artists like BK Mguni (Wamuhle Jehovah), which won the Best Collabo Track of the Year award. He has also collaborated with Dicey from Nigeria (Calling by Bryan_Awah) and Kereng Kzee The VIP, a Moto Republik Magamba Network nominee (LangaLenjabulo/Celebrate). In addition, Bryan_Awah has expanded his artistic endeavors to acting, appearing as a zombie in the Bulawayo production “THE SIGNAL” directed by Daniel Lasker, with Nigel Moyo serving as his assistant director.
Throughout his musical journey, Bryan_Awah has shared stages with renowned artists such as Jeyz Marabini, Lebo Sekgobela, Mupostori Wency, Ayanda Shange, VocalEx, Qeqeshiwe, Band fusion, Kereng (Kzee) The VIP, and Tynie Smart, among others. Currently a member of Joyful Praise Choir Matabeleland, Bryan_Awah has also received invitations to minister at international conferences and weddings. His ultimate desire is to inspire and transform people through his music, believing that art is a powerful form of expression that should be embraced without hesitation. Bryan is currently working on his first EP, titled “NDALO,” and he is self-employed while also working on a project for upcoming artists called “The Hub Domus Talenti.”
